BHZ & Our Hard Seltzer Super Powers

seltzer mix in_filter.jpg

Truth told: we love hard seltzer.

This love isn’t unconditional though: we only love really good hard seltzer. Hard seltzer that’s brewed in small batches. That uses natural fruit for flavor. That pours with a beautiful haze. Our lemon hard seltzer just re-released and as always, it’s gloriously hazy and bursting with lemon. BHZ seltzer fans love every tart, crisp, refreshing, and low-ABV sip (only 4% ).

It’s also worth noting that our hard lemon seltzer possesses a pretty cool super-power as a mix-in. In fact, you can have a whole lot of quarantine fun playing mixologist. And if you need a few drink ideas to get you started we’ve got you covered.

Be sure to have fun & get creative. Definitely let us know what you love. And if you mix up something new (life in quarantine comes with a fair share of downtime … now’s the time to experiment folks), let us know via Instagram or Facebook! #BHZhardseltzer

***All drinks list below start with a generous pour of BHZ Hard Lemon Seltzer***

You can order BHZ Seltzer online for pick up or deliver. Walk up purchases also welcome!

Fruity Hard Seltzer Splash
Which fruit juices pair well with hard lemon seltzer? Sky’s the limit! All of the following are worth a try: watermelon, raspberry, peach, grapefruit, pomegranate. The list is never ending! Do some field research and discover which you like best.

Blueberry-Lemonade Bash
Just add freshly muddled berries (gently mash a handful of fresh blueberry) or splash of blueberry vodka to our hard seltzer. Refreshing & tart with great tart/sweet balance.

Arnie Palmer
Super easy. Just combine hard lemon seltzer with sweet iced tea. How much iced tea? Depends on how laid back you want Arnie to be. How would Arnie feel about adding a few fresh berries or sprig of mint? He’d feel very good about both.

Gin–Seltzer Fizz
Start with a generous pour of hard seltzer and add a splash of your favorite gin. You’ve got to go with your gut on amount/brand of gin. We’re partial to gin created by our friends at Bully Boy in Boston. It has honeysuckle notes at the base which are rounded out by hints of juniper, coriander, grapefruit, cardamom. Here too, adding gently muddled fresh raspberries would be a pro move that any mixologist would applaud.

French 95 Woodrock Rd.
BHZ’s hard seltzer twist on the French 75, a fun drink with champagne, gin, lemon juice, and sugar. Our super fizzy seltzer stands in for champagne bubbles. Add a splash of gin and another splash of St. Germaine liqueur. Ok, ok., St. Germain is not exactly a household item, but it would be fun to have around this summer … just sayin’!

Remember, we’d love to hear how you got in touch with your inner-mixologist. Share your field research via Instagram or Facebook #BHZhardseltzer
